About us
Altera Autokool has been teaching drivers since May 2011. Our classroom is in the heart of Tallinn at Narva mnt 4, room 204. We offer training for categories AM, A1, A2, A, B and BE, supporting students from their first lessons through to the state driving test.
Our aim is to help every student become a confident, attentive and responsible driver who can make sound decisions and look out for other road users.
Everyone learns at their own pace and starts with a different level of knowledge. We take this into account and match you with an instructor you feel comfortable learning with: someone who helps you understand the rules, correct mistakes and gradually become more confident behind the wheel. Online theory lessons, flexible instructor schedules and interest-free instalments help students fit their course around work or study.
Focus on the test — leave the arrangements to us. Our support continues after your training is complete. We will book your state driving test, provide an automatic training car and arrange an interpreter if needed. Let us know your preferences — we will get everything ready.
For practical training, we use Toyota Corolla, Auris, Verso and C-HR cars, along with motorcycles and mopeds for the relevant categories. Gallery

Super happy about experience for my A license, theory can be done separately and at your own pace, for me it took 1 month to prepare and then passed it first try. Then it was another month for practice, did ask for extra lessons just to be sure, so end result was 10+4 and then booked exam. We did arrive earlier to practice on exam grounds, did exercises and then city driving. Overall around 1h for exam, and passed first try as well.

The Kawasaki Z650 is a sporty, sufficiently powerful middleweight road motorcycle that is easy to handle and comfortable to use — just what a beginner needs. Experienced instructor Andrei Sorokin teaches all the fundamentals of riding. And, of course, you also need your own desire to learn and get your licence.
The result: I completed the theory in four days, passed the school theory exam on the first try and passed the Transport Administration theory exam on the first try. Five standard riding sessions of an hour and a half each, and I passed the riding test on the first try too. Now I am waiting for my licence card with the new category. :)
Highly recommended! If I need a BE licence, I will go to this driving school.
