Learning to drive: category BE
The BE course suits drivers planning to tow a heavier trailer: for a boat, a caravan or horses. To register, you need a valid category B licence, an identity document and a medical certificate.
After registration and your first payment, complete theory and arrange practical lessons with your instructor. Practise coupling the car and trailer, manoeuvring, reversing and allowing for the combination’s dimensions on the road.
The school theory exam is included. After completing training, you take the state theory and practical tests.
By arrangement, you can hire the school car and trailer for the test and use an interpreter. Vehicle hire and interpreting are charged separately.
