A lesson lasts 45 minutes.
Learning to drive: category B
You can start learning at 15½. Start with registration, a valid medical certificate and payment of the first part of the course. Then choose your theory format: in the classroom or online. Work through traffic situations, ask questions and check your knowledge with practice tests — the rules will gradually start to make sense together.
After two weeks of theory lessons, you can begin driving. Choose a manual or automatic transmission. During training, you can change your training car and try the other transmission — we will help you find what suits you.
The course includes 3 months of access to online practice tests, plus first aid, night driving and slippery driving, arranged by the school.
We will prepare for the state driving test together. By prior arrangement, we can provide an automatic training car for the test in Tallinn and an interpreter. Car hire and interpreting are charged separately.
After passing the state exams, you receive an initial driving licence valid for 2 years. Your first independent journeys are ahead. Let’s start with your first lesson!
NB! Did you know that a category B licence also allows you to ride a two-wheeled moped and drive a four-wheeled moped car in category AM, a minibus with eight passenger seats in addition to the driver and a maximum authorised mass of up to 3.5 tonnes, and a car-and-trailer combination with a maximum authorised mass of up to 3.5 tonnes — including a trailer heavier than 750 kg?
